

Master's and Doctoral Studies – Options and Programs
At EMUNI University, master's and doctoral programs are available in contemporary and interdisciplinary fields such as intercultural business communication, digitalization and human rights, as well as programs in kinesiology and sports sciences focused on improving human performance and quality of life. These programs connect social, humanities, and health sciences disciplines, providing students with broad knowledge and practical skills applicable in an international environment. Students can choose from several specializations, including green economy, project management, and international law. All programs are taught in English, enabling easy access for international students.

Documentation for Enrollment and Study Costs
For enrollment in master's studies, a bachelor's degree (at least three years or 180 ECTS credits), transcript of records, and proof of English proficiency (usually B2 or C1 level) are required. Candidates who studied outside Slovenia must also submit translated documents and proof of recognition of foreign diplomas. For doctoral studies, a master's and bachelor's degree, proof of English knowledge, CV, and proof of recognition of previous education are necessary. The faculty may request additional documents or an admission interview depending on the program. Tuition fees for master's studies range from €4,900 to €5,800 per year depending on the program, while doctoral studies cost €5,800. Accommodation costs in Slovenia are affordable, ranging from €300 to €500 per month, and living expenses are lower than in Western countries.

Students have the option of accommodation in student dormitories or private housing near the campus. Enrollment Dates and Scholarships
Applications for enrollment are accepted in three rounds, with main deadlines in June and September. EMUNI University offers scholarships based on academic performance, as well as support for international students through various financial aid programs. Workshops and info sessions for prospective students are regularly organized to make the enrollment process as simple as possible.

The Healthy and Active Lifestyle (HALS) Summer School is intended for students, young professionals, and anyone looking to enhance their knowledge of health, physical activity, and modern approaches to a healthy lifestyle.

ABOUT THE COURSE AND TEACHING
The summer school runs from September 8 to 12 each year and is held in Piran and Koper, organized by EMUNI University and partner institutions. The teaching includes interactive lectures, workshops, and practical activities led by renowned experts in kinesiology, medicine, and nutrition, including Dr. Rado Pišot, Dr. Saša Pišot, Dr. Boštjan Šimunič, Dr. Kaja Teraž, and others. Topics cover kinesiology before and after physical activity, muscle-brain connections, the Mediterranean lifestyle, nutrition and physical activity, as well as innovative approaches like VR technology in health.

CERTIFICATE
All participants who successfully complete the program receive a certificate of attendance. Those who fulfill all obligations and pass the final exam also receive a Transcript of Records with 3 ECTS credits and grades, which can be used at their home faculties. Certificates are issued electronically.

ACCOMMODATION
Participants are accommodated in student residences or partner facilities in Piran and Koper, in single or double rooms with private bathrooms. Meals are not included in the price but are available in student canteens and nearby restaurants.
